Better Business Bureau serving Greater Iowa, Quad Cities & Siouxland Region is warning consumers to be on a lookout for a fraudulent email claiming to be from Facebook. The email reads as follows:
Dear user of facebook,
Because of the measures taken to provide safety to our clients, your password has been changed.
You can find your new password in attached document.
Thanks,
Your Facebook.BBB is warning consumers not to open this attachment, as it is most likely a virus or a phishing scam. Facebook will never reset you password automatically, and will never send you a new one as part of an email attachment.
